Nandgaon, Bhiwani

Nandgaon has been named after the ancient village by the same name, where Lord Krishna spent his early childhood as desribed in various Hindu granths such as "The Mahabharta". Infact the Village derives its name from Lord Krishna's foster father "Nand".
Nand was the village head, and a trusted friend of King Vasudev, father of Lord Krishna. Nand adopted Krishna & saved the infant from his cruel maternal uncle King Kansa. He along with his wife Yasoda raised Krishna in Nandgaon.
"Nand" stands for trust, supreme sacrifice, courage, devotion to friendship, valour & integrity. True to its name, "Nandgaon" has gifted these qualities to its inhabitants by the virtue of being born into this village. Nandgaon has become eternal by the blessings of Lord Krishna.
The present village has the blessings of Baba Puran Anand Giriji Maharaj
